　　In stud poker, players are dealt five or more cards each, depending on the variant. Some of these cards are dealt face up and some face down.

　　There are two main differences between stud and draw poker. In stud poker, players cannot replace cards in their hand, while part of the hand is exposed in stud, as opposed to draw, where the entire hand is hidden.

　　Razz is a type of stud poker in which the object is for a player to make the lowest five-card hand possible from the seven cards he or she is dealt.

　　The Ace always plays low and straights and flushes do not increase the value of the hand.

　　The best possible hand in Razz is 5 high – 5432A – also known as "the wheel" or "the bicycle".

　　The 'R' game in H.O.R.S.E, there has been a Razz event at the World Series of Poker since 1973. Although it draws relatively small numbers compared to other events, the Razz tournament was televised on ESPN in 2004.
