爱尔兰可能很快接受赌场赌博

　　在过去的十年中，赌场赌博已经被几十个国家相继接受，现在看来，即使是爱尔兰可能最后也会接受赌场赌博这样的行为，会将其合法化。爱尔兰司法署已建议在爱尔兰建设具有拉斯维加斯风格的赌场。

　　Ireland May Accept Casino Gambling Soon

　　Over the past decade, Casino gambling has become accepted in dozens of countries and now it appears that even Ireland may get in on the act. The Irish Department of Justice has recommended that in Ireland, Las Vegas-style casinos be built.

　　A report that indicated the majority of Irish residents traveling to the US are going to Las Vegas resulted in the change in policy. The Department of Justice wants to change the trend as millions of people in Ireland are taking their entertainment dollars to another country.

　　Before any of the current laws are changed, the likelihood is that the general election will take place in March. According to Dermot Ahern, Minister for Justice, there is an outside chance that the law changes could happen before then. One thing is certain that millions of dollars will be pumped into the local economy, whenever the changes do take place.

　　In recent years, many countries have changed their gambling laws to come into compliance with European Union laws and to only increase revenue for their government. In the gaming industry, the result of the law changes has been a worldwide boom.

　　Options for Regulating Gambling, said that of large-scale casinos being permitted, the law should provide for at least the possibility. For sustaining a Las Vegas style development this jurisdiction is not so large. The Government is yet to decide how many casinos would be permitted, although it believes that two or possibly three super-casinos would be the appropriate choice.

　　Before such a casino “resort” can get the final green light, a planning process, Government and Dail approval still need to be passed.
